CraneWorks Hires New President

CraneWorks is excited to announce Kenny Bishop as our new President.

As a native of Birmingham, Kenny attended Shades Valley High School and graduated from the University of Alabama with a B.S. in Mining Engineering. After working for Drummond Company for a few years, he began a long career with Thompson Tractor, the Caterpillar Dealer for Alabama and Northwest Florida. Over his 28 ½ years with Thompson, he served as a Sales Representative, Region Manager, and Vice President of Sales. In his role as Vice President, he was responsible for the heavy equipment department and served as General Manger of the Cat Rental Store. Most recently, Kenny was President and CEO of Ascendum Machinery, the Volvo heavy equipment dealer in NC, SC, GA, east TN, and ND.

Kenny will report to our owners, David & Steve Upton, who serve as our CEO & CFO, respectively.

We look forward to the knowledge and expertise Kenny will bring to CraneWorks and RentalWorks as we continue to grow and expand. We are very excited to have Kenny on our team.
